The “Friends of the Levittown Library” is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. We are a group of dedicated area residents, who believe that an excellent library is essential to the viability of our community. For this reason, we promote public awareness of the Levittown Library’s resources and needs. In addition, we sponsor free cultural programs at the Library, and conduct fund-raising events to help pay for them.
The Friends meet at the Levittown Branch Library starting at 6:30 PM on the first Monday of each month, except for July and August. We support and promote the Levittown Branch Library, and seek to enlist active and participating membership to further these interests. Membership is open to everyone who is interested in furthering our goals.

We are members of ALTAFF – Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends & Foundations, and PCBL – Pennsylvania Citizens for Better Libraries. To join our circle of Friends, we provide a form for you to fill out, which then can be printed and brought to the library or mailed to the Friends, (see address, above) along with with your payment.
Please note that all donations to the Friends go directly to support your Levittown Branch Library. Note, too, that “Friends of the Levittown Library” is recognized as a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Therefore, membership fees and donations are tax deductible.
Your financial commitment is welcome as is any participation in Friends projects and/or activities that interest you. Meeting attendance is not required for the Friends of the Levittown Branch Library.
